Situated on the main road between Ozankoy and Catalkoy, Dolce Vita is a family run restaurant offering homemade Turkish and European cuisine. There is a small parking area at the front, you walk down some stairs, through to the lovely garden restaurant. Opening hours are 7 days a week from 12pm lunchtime until 11pm. The hospitality is very good and repeat business is high.
Dolce Vita have an extensive menu with some delicious choices; starters include calamari, scampi, mussels, avocado with prawns and smoked salmon starting from 7TL (approx. £3). Main courses include various different steaks, pork chops, various fish dishes and even local lobster, main courses start from 17TL (approx. £7) per person. My personal favourite is the chicken a’ la cream, or the mousakka. The desserts menu has a good selection including apple pie, cheese cake, ice cream or fresh fruit salad, starting from 5TL (approx. £2).
Dolce Vita have various special deals available, including Sunday lunch specials for only 20TL (approx. £8) per person, including roast beef dinner with Yorkshire pudding, with Apple Pie with cream or custard for dessert and then fruit salad. A two-course set menu is also available for the modest price of 25TL (approx. £10) per person, some of the choices include meze and sword fish, meze and lamb chops, meze and kleftico or meze and sea bass. Dolce Vita is good value for money. The House Special meal is clay oven baked lamb (Kleftico) with salad and roast potatoes for 20TL (approx. £8) per person.
