Carpenters Restaurant in Karaoglanoglu is recognized from the main road by its sign which is in the styled after the 1970’s pop group of the same name.

This a family run restaurant whose members used to work in the carpentry profession, hence the naming of the restaurant.

The building is built in the traditional Cypriot style with wooden windows, shutters and beams, a central fire place and flagstone floors. There is a nicely laid out garden area for summer dining.

The menu offers good home cooked foods made using fresh produce. Beef, chicken and fish are all featured on the menu, with some unusual sauces such as sweet and spicy Moroccan sauce served with couscous to complement the chicken.

On Friday mornings there is a farmers market in the garden area where you can buy locally produced items like cheese and honey.
