Patina is situated just off the main road going towards Catalkoy, opposite the Lemar supermarket. Open for snacks between 11.30am and 16.30pm, and dinner between 19.30pm and 23.00 in the summertime and for dinner between 18.30 and 21.00 in the wintertime, Patina always offers an excellent choice for dining. Reservation is recommended at this upmarket, popular restaurant.
Patina’s menu has a fantastic selection, and the presentation is absolutely superb, one of the best in North Cyprus. For a starter dishes you can choose from include; Avacado filled with flavoured shrimp cocktail, bacon and goats cheese gratten in panet dough or salmon roll with vegetable. Main courses include; calf medallion with cafe de paris sauce, far-east style salmon fish in vegetable leaf and triaki sauce, lamb koski with BBQ sauce or wrapped chicken with rikota and spinach. The desserts are one not to be missed, with desserts such as tropical fruit pate in karmeleza basket, lemon and pear meringue in wine or moelleux au chocolate to choose from, you will not be disappointed. Chef’s specials are also available ranging from vegetable sea bass rolls or bosphorus style somon to chocolate porfe or apple charlotte. As you would expect the prices are fairly expensive, but the food and service are superb and well worth the money.
