Baba Durumcu

If it is a quick bite to eat you are looking for then look no further than Baba durumcu . This restaurant is on the main road just outside Kyrenia heading west out of town.

This is real value for money for 6 Turkish liras (approx. £2.40) you can have a kebab with a choice of freshly cooked chicken or lamb shish or Adana kebab which is mince meat mixed with spices on a skewer wrapped in warm bread with salad with complimentary roasted peppers and fresh lemon and parsley.

The price also includes a drink which is usually Ayran made from natural yogurt it is tasty and healthy and quite a thirst quencher. Or perhaps try the Lahmacun a Turkish style pizza for 2 lira each (approx. £0.80).  

This place is perfect for anytime of the day and is open late in the evenings. The restaurant has seating areas inside and out, situated close to the main road and is very clean, the staff are  very helpful and friendly.
